Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women was reintroduced at Louisa Presbyterian Church in September 2021 with the purpose of growing our relationship with Christ, deepening our relationship with each other, and serving our neighbors through mission projects. PW meets one Saturday morning each month, September through May.
Business meetings include discussions to plan events and projects, after which Pastor Sandi leads a Bible study from the PW Horizons
Let Justice Roll Down curriculum. Events and projects have included
the annual LPC Women's Christmas Luncheon with Ornament and Cookie Exchanges; creating Valentine gift bags for the Lab Workers
at Martha Jefferson Hospital; providing gift cards for families
enrolled in the local Strengthening Families program; and overseeing church potlucks and fellowship dinners.
We extended an invitation to the Kirk O'Cliff PW to join us for our Christmas Luncheon, and they reciprocated the invitation in June
for a Summer Luncheon. Then we responded with an invitation to
join us for our February Sisterly Love mission project, making gift bags for caregivers. Relationship building continues!
